There is also a pool, BBQ area and a coin operated guest laundry on site.The Motel is located in the main street within close walking distance to many eateries. Transfers to and from in an air conditioned bus from the airports and the tilt train.

Monday: Bundaberg’s Attractions

We are off to Schmieders Cooperage Craft Centre. So many wines to choose from. As well as a Schmieders Port. Check out the barrel making, Woodturning, Glass Blowing, Pottery and other items of interest.

RUM RUM LETS GO to the FAMOUS “Bundaberg Rum Distillery”, a guided tour and of course at the end of the tour a FREE sample. Watch out for the White Bear, as it will put a smile on your face. Off to lunch we go. Well that was lunch, off to the “Bundaberg Brewed Drinks”, where we can see the Ginger Beer Work Shop. Get a sample of the amazing taste of the world famous ginger beer right here in Bundaberg.

    

Tuesday: Burnett River Cruise, Botanical Gardens

Everyone, all aboard. Time for a scenic cruise aboard the Bundy Belle along the picturesque Burnett River and learn about the incredible history of the days of the Knackas. On to lunch. Then enjoy an exotic walk through the Botanical Gardens. Explore Bert Hinkler’s House, Australia’s greatest pioneer solo aviator museum then have a look at the local Historical Museum. Take a trip back to the last century the Fairymead House Sugar Museum which was built in 1890 grand old Queenslander.

 

Wednesday: Apple Tree Creek / Childers

Pick a seat any seat. Let's go for a drive to Childers. First we start of with the Flying High Bird Sanctuary to see lots and lots of different species of birds, as they fly around you. Colourful and noisy but that is all part of their nature, Also check out the Memorial Palace Backpackers. Then we have a light lunch. As well as have a look at the Heritage shops. Then after we have looked through Childers, we are off to Mammino's Ice Cream. Make sure you have plenty of room for it because it is filling and yummy.

 

 

         Thursday: Return trip back to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport. 


 

Not ready to go back,Why not learn about Captain James Cook

Extra Night & Day:  Town of 1770 / Agnes Water

Buckle up and get comfortable as we take a trip up to Agnes Water and Town Of 1770. Once we get there, we take a drive around the Town Of 1770/ Agnes Water. Learn about the first recorded landing place in Queensland of Captain James Cook in 1770. Then onto a light lunch at the Agnes Water Tavern. Then to top off the day enjoy an afternoon cruise on the Larc. It is the most beautiful way to experience the delights of 1770. Then once you have finished and ready it’s on our way home.
